About Us
The University Park Recreation District was formed by Manatee County on August 2, 2018 to purchase, operate and maintain the University Park Country Club and its related facilities along with +/- 100 acres of conservation and open space land in the District.
Establishment
Manatee County formed the University Park Recreation District via Ordinance 18-29 pursuant to Chapter 418, F.S. based on a petition signed by over 80% of District residents requesting the formation of the District.
