Florida Supreme Court Clears the Way for UPRD Capital Improvements

Dear University Park Residents and Country Club Members,

Today, the Florida Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the University Park Recreation District (UPRD) can legally issue up to $21 million in bonds to fund improvements to our recreational facilities.

This decision brings nearly two years of litigation to a close and clears the path for the Board of Supervisors to continue its due diligence in assessing the proposed Capital Improvement Plan. As discussions continue and decisions are made, we will keep the community informed regarding the scope and timing of any upcoming projects.

On behalf of the Board of Supervisors, thank you to our residents and Club members for your patience throughout this process. We look forward to sharing more with you as we begin this next chapter together.
